Duat | Egyptian Mythology

Duat was the egyptian underworld. According to ancient Egyptian belief, existence was divided into three parts: the Earth, the Sky and Duat. The sun travelled the sky during the day, and fell into Duat at night, where it could not be seen until it emerged on the other side.
