The Gorgons | Greek Mythology

The Gorgons were three sisters named Stheno, Medusa and Euryale. They were the daughters of Phorcys, and granddaughters of Gaea. Of the three, only Medusa was mortal. One look upon one of the face of a gorgon could turn any living thing to stone.
