The son of Zeus and Hera, Hephaistos was the Greek smith god. Hephaistos once interfered in a fight between his parents, and an angry Zeus through him from Mount Olympus.

Eventually, Hephaistos was able to return to Olympus. One myth says that Hephaistos created Pandora, the first woman.
